Green Agriculture

The global agricultural land covers 1.4 billion hectares according to studies by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization in 2019. As our population continues to increase and the consumer society limits the development of the agricultural industry, food consumption will increase exponentially in the coming decades. Currently, the global development of newly cultivated land has entered a bottleneck. To overcome the conflict between inadequate agricultural productivity and the ever-increasing world population, the modern agriculture industry urgently needs to improve the land utilization rate and increase crops production by sustainable technology.

Modern agriculture often prefers intensive production to increase efficiency. However, the mass production of a single favorable variety leads to the destruction of the ecosystem diversity, therefore significantly weakening the ability of the environment to resist agricultural disasters. In particular, pests and diseases pose a serious threat to global food safety.
