Based on the cutting-edge theory of genetics and engineering science, our platform enables us to construct the transcription and translation elements of a target gene using engineering ideas. This allows us to systematically evaluate the compatibility between gene elements and each gene in the biosynthetic pathwayto seek the optimal expression of each gene by adjusting the intensity of transcription and translation.
Our platform has an enormous gene component library for various microorganisms, including model strains like Escherichia coil, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Pichia pastoris, etc., and special strains like Streptomyces, Aspergillus, Penicillium, Trichoderma viride, etc., and more than 100,000 kinds of promoters, RBS, and terminators. This massive library provides a solid foundation for the design and construction of high-performance genetic circuits.
By modularization of each component and connect them together to build genetic circuits, the biosynthetic pathways of target products can be efficiently created. The design and construction of genetic circuits allow us to attain a dynamic balance between the primary metabolism of microorganisms and synthetic products, thereby improving the comprehensive utilization rate of carbon atoms and energy.
