Climate change has long been one of the most urgent global environmental issues. Since the 1990s, international conventions such as the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Kyoto Protocol, the Paris Agreement, etc., have proposed objectives to better control greenhouse gas and global climate issues. The Paris Agreement proposed that nations work together to prevent global warming. It was passed by the unanimous efforts of 195 members during the UN Climate Summit in 2015, thus forming the global climate governance pattern after 2020.
Race to Zero, a movement supported by the UN, has been launched on World Environmental Day, June 5th, 2020. It is a movement aimed to work together on climate change and achieve inclusive and sustainable green growth. More than 4500 non-governmental organizations from ninety-two countries around the world have participated in this movement to reach the goal of reducing 50% carbon emissions by 2030 and to build a healthier, safer, cleaner, and more resilient world for future generations.
Among the first class of the bio-intelligent manufacturers, Abiochem adheres to carbon neutrality and actively engages in relevant works for carbon fixation, plastic degradation, and renewable energy. We have gained a competitive advantage in the synthetic biotechnology industry while continuing to improve our R&D capabilities.
